We will look at another method of finding the center and spread to describe a distribution.

I am going to demo this and then give you a practice data set.

Graded work: on your collected data spreadsheet, chose a quantitative continuous variable and use the short cut formulas, to calculate the mean and std dev. If you do not have that spreadsheet completed yet, go grab a data set from <link> You’ll need to make a copy.
